PowerPoint presentations causing you brand pain?

Marketers, how many of you spend way too much time cleaning up poor #presentations? Even when you provide a template, how many times do you see distorted logos, rambling content and off-brand images? Do these poorly produced presentations often end up in front of a client? Sometimes offering a simple checklist or quick reference document can help keep everyone on the same page (or slide!) when it comes to presentations. To give you a head start, we’ve put our own together. Feel free to use it and adapt it to include your own do’s and don’t’s.

10 point checklist for better presentations

Hi Helen … can’t believe it’s almost a year ago since we met at the Women in Paytech workshop. Thanks so much for sharing the checklist … may I use it with your logo to show some of my individual clients preparing presentations for job interviews?

It says it all … let me know if you fancy a catch up sometime by phone. Best wishes, Heather

Hi Heather! I’d be more than happy for you to use it however you wish – I’ve got a bank of template and reference guides I’m posting up over the coming months – I feel now is a time for pooling resources and helping each other out!

Hi Helen … so true about helping and supporting each other. Like you I’m endeavouring to balance offering some “self-help” tools (mostly delivered through my blog stories) with revenue-generating activities supporting businesses, etc. Thanks for the offer to use your checklist and let’s stay in touch. Not sure I’ll have anything in my toolbox you’ll need … but you’re so welcome to try. Same contact details as previously … just a few new additions to my website around Refreshing / You. Refreshed – my take on Outplacement.
